It’s Hot and smoke out there right now. I would suggest you start early and take plenty of water. The first mile and a half or so was on a wooded trail then you come out onto a fire access road. It’s Hot and exposed with a few shady trees from time to time. The hike is pretty easy going for the most part and there were a few people on trail. All in all it was definitely worth the hike.
