The Wasatch 3 Day Challenge: Mount Timpanogos For The Finish

Decided to finish the 3 day challenge with a victory lap on Mount Timpanogos. Started the hike at 6:52am on Sunday morning. A little later start than we both wanted but I think we both needed the time that morning to get everything up and running again. The trail was beautiful the whole way. With each switchback came a different view. The basin before the saddle was beautiful with Timpanogos in the background. Saw some mountain goats while making our way to the saddle. The final scramble to the summit was incredible with breathtaking views of Provo and the valley below. Hung out at the summit for about 20 mins taking photos and enjoying the views before heading back down. Made it back to the car at 4:11pm exhausted and hungry. We headed for our hotel in Salt Lake City and grabbed pizza along the way. Awesome challenge, and incredible experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better teammate and thankful to have a brother out there with me. Couldn’t have pulled it out without you.
