We finally made it to Ontario Peak via Icehouse & Big Horn.
It was a bit difficult to find the bighorn trail from the saddle but once you’re on it it’s easy to follow. We’ve only ever done Ontario via Kelly Camp before and when it was totally covered in snow. It was definitely something special to see the beautiful new growth on the way down.
we also decided to challenge ourselves a bit more and take chapman trail down.
not sure if that was the best idea ????
