Thunderstruck – almost!

The weather had been super hot recently and yet I still wanted to get out there and bag this peak. I rounded up a couple of willing friends and we hit the trail at 5:30am in an effort to beat the heat. Surprisingly we were treated to a mild morning and eventually that turned to some cloudy skies and a threat of rain and thunder! Fortunately no lightening materialized and we were able to bag the peak in all her glory!! A great day!!
