Weather was perfect and water was flowing everywhere which was awesome.  Unfortunately I picked up a tick on the Matt Davis Trail when I brushed up against a shrub.  I sent it to a lab and it was negative for Lyme but was carrying Human Granulocytic Anaplasmosis which is NOT a good one!  Check for ticks after your hike!  The views were beautiful and the hike enjoyable.
