To the top of the Ski Lift!

A challenging hike for sure! Steep all the way to the top of this 9000′ peak! Of course, it’s a volcano so there was lava….lots of lava! But no other people! We saw pink snow which is some kind of bacteria that forms on top of the snow. Of course the views from the top were spectacular. We did have a bit of smoke but it did not deter us. The weather was, once again, spectacular! The hiking legs are definitely coming around and we can’t wait for the next hike!
