Tom, Dick, and Harry in NOVEMBER!

Today’s hike was solo. The trail had many people on it today. It was so nice to hike under the cover of conifers, especially since most of the peaks in the challenge are exposed. I loved hearing the trickle of water in the creek bed. The first view point was covered with other hikers, and rightfully so, because the view of Mt. Hood was gorgeous! Not many went on from there, in fact I believe I only crossed paths with 4 other people after that point. When I made it to the very top, two of the people were just leaving. We’ve been so lucky to have real fall weather this year instead of weather like the last few years where we’ve gone from summer to immediate snowy conditions. Today was a day well spent!
