Treacherous Hike

This trail I would considered moderate to hard. Trail. Started at 6:20 AM (ended 6.5 hrs). There are so many Bugs and Horse Flies and they Bite and they don’t leave you alone even after we sprayed  a eucalyptus oil. A Net is a Must.  The weather is 77 degree but it gets hot around 11:30 am. I would recommend to start at 4:00 am. Some parts of the trail is so bad.. The first two miles of the trailhead  there were so many rocks and ruts we’re it’ was difficult to hike. As we get to the Oak Grove Trail signed there is no signed to get to the High Point/Summit.  Which caused  delays since we have to get our bearings; to locate the Summit. This trail with its horse flies, rocks  bugs, ruts dust and heat transformed a wonderful day hike into a treacherous journey that it’s only Joy is when it has ended!
