Turkey…. fly?

Peak # 5

Hiked Stonewall Peak with friends in the morning before hiking Cuyamaca by myself at noon. With the road/trail closure I used Los Vaqueros Trailhead and took Milk Ranch Road, Azalea Spring Fire Road and Conejos Trail. But since it was a holiday and no one was there to stop me, I continued via Lookout road all the way to the peak.

There was nothing much to see along the trail but at the peak the view was amazing. On my way down, about 2 miles to the trailhead I spooked a rafter of turkeys. They all ran and to my surprise, they start flying and I was… huh? I did not know they can fly. 🙂 🙂 :-).
