Turkeys greeting in Hot Springs

Began at 8 45. Greeted by wild turkeys a week b4 Thanksgiving. Low lying clouds and low 40’s at start. Trail is wide open and I love the semi firm sand all the way ! 1st 2 miles steady climb which I prefer to do while I’m fresh. Not great views but enjoyable given no bugs , cool weather and vibrant foliage. Round trip was 10.5 miles and 4 hour round trip. No wildlife other than turkeys!
