Turtlehead Peak

I took the hike with my grandson. While there is the warning that the trail is strenuous, I found out my mind may think I am now older than 40, but my body reminded me I am old enough for Medicare. The view from the top was beautiful and well worth the effort. Even though I came away feeling I was not well enough prepared, we still made the round trip in three and half hours. Not bad!
