Twilight of the Idols: Grandeur Peak

Starting around 4am is certainly a trick to climbing the Wasatch Mountains. Headlamp hiking the upward grind before enjoying twilight panoramic summit views. Salt Lake City and the great Salt Lake itself all laid out beneath Grandeur Peak’s summit perch. Spent about an hour hanging out on the summit talking to fellow hikers as the sun rose steadily. A thoroughly enjoyable trail and obviously popular given the steady stream of folk met on the descent.
