Yesterday, I began my quest to complete the 2020 Northern California Six-Pack of Peaks. I climbed to the summit of Mt. Um (3,486 ft.). This is the “easiest” of the six mountains in the NorCal challenge. Including the walk at the top (to read all the signage and look at the Native American site), this was a beautiful 8-mile trek through forests loaded with Manzanitas. Lots of switchbacks…
