Up, up, up, followed by Down, down, down

I’ve lived in Flag for over 20 years and never hiked Mt Elden, and now I remember why! That’s a tough hike, except for the first half hour or so… The views at the top were outstanding, and the one tiny patch of snow was a little reminder of last winter, but this isn’t going to end up in my top 10 list of NoAZ hikes. I was happy to share the trail for a little while with a fat and healthy toad though!
