Upper Black Butte

One of the most gorgeous days ever!  Temperature cool but since it’s uphill all the way, this was definitely in our favor.there is a Turk on top with lots of stuff inside for rangers.  Gorgeous newer fire tower that looks like a tiny church.  Most amazing of all was this new deck that gave you a spectacular views of all summits from Brokentop to Mt Jefferson

there was a snow field on top that is melting so walking across was a little tricky because you could fall through up to your hip

All in all an absolutely stunning hike!
