There is a long gravel road (+/- 10 miles) to get to the trailhead.  We were early enough (9:00AM) to park in the lot closest to the trailhead but by the time we left (noon), the lot was full; as were many others we passed on the way in.  The hike was beautiful.  A nice trail with a few places for options on getting to the saddle, crossing water a handful of times and a good variety of rock formations, vegetation and spectacular views.
