Views of the Wine Country

Our 4th year doing this hike. As with all trails, though the route may be the same, there is always something new or different to experience, whether it be time of day, weather, other people or events on the trail, etc.  This year’s hike was relatively calm, cloudy, sunny, cloudy, sunny, but without the howling winds or pouring  rain we’ve experienced on previous trips. The views, though occasionally occluded by clouds, are awe inspiring. The fire road was in good condition and although it is not the most exciting hike, it’s still worth the trip from the East Bay.
