I solo hiked up to San Gorgonio Peak via Vivian Creek.  This was my second time doing it.  I started very early in the morning, like at 3 a.m. There were a couple of hikers ahead of ne.  The morning scene was very nice. 80% of the Vivian Creek is shady.  There are many water source along this trail.  I hiked really slowly.  I saw a lady hiker with her dog.  She gave me words of encouragement.  It took forever, but I reached the peak.  Seeing it was a late summit, I took a few photos and headed down.  As I came down, a forest ranger approached me.  He asked if I had a permit.  I shown him my dau hike permit and I continued.  I reached my car at 6 p.m.
