Volcan First/Applie Later

Started the hike at 8:10 am. With all the rains we’ve bad over the last two weeks I thought it would be really muddy, but it wasn’t! The trails was in great condition…a couple of puddles but they were easy to get around. It was cloudy but no rain. The summit was covered in cloud so we couldn’t see the views. Definitely gotta go back to see them. The seem like they’ll be amazing! We hiked to the trailhead marker that’s hidden in the trees. (It reminded me of the “fairy glades” in Ireland! I recommend visitors make sure they find the marker. It makes the work to get there so worth it?

I’m just getting  back into shape so I was hugging and puffing a bit, but nothing that was too bad! Just keeps me motivated to keep going to the gym abc keep hiking!

It was a beautiful hike! Definitely recommend! Bring layers because you’ll use them all!
