Volcan Mtn hike with the family

Started the hike from Volcan Mountain Trailhead and took the Five Oaks Trailhead on the way down. Volcan Mountain Trailhead going up is pretty straightforward and will take through all the scenic lookouts. Not a lot of people on the trail. Had the summit to ourselves for a good 1/2 hour. Five Oaks Trail on the way down takes you through more woodsy scenery and the trail is more rocky. Overall, the hike was great. The kids (11 & 9) didn’t mind it too much.
