7th Peak for the Year!

I’m so glad I completed this trail! That said, I will NEVER do it again . The views are beautiful and the trail is nicely maintained. But the whole 11+ miles consists of uphills where you are trying not to die, followed by downhills, where you try not to fall on your face, with VERY FEW flattish parts that last for about 20 feet where you can chill and just enjoy the walk. Today was the Warrior Challenge Hike to honor Veterans on this Veterans Day. The park does an amazing job organizing this event and I would consider volunteering in the future. But hiking it again? #neveragain I’m so happy I survived to see 63 tomorrow.
