This was my first of six hikes at El Cajon in 2025.  The Memorial Day Warrior Hike Challenge event is a great time to take friends or first timers since there is water support at the halfway mark. It was sunny but not too hot and the trail was in great shape. It was nice to take the trail slower with a group of friends.
