Great day to finish out the challenge. It gets warm there, but I started early.
You can reach the peak starting from another trailhead to the north, saving time if you come from the Phoenix area – wish I’d done that. Starting at King Canyon was more of a drive, and the trail on that side of the mountain was much rockier.
