Wasson – A Must!

First time hiking Wasson and it is now on my favorite list! We hiked the loop counter-clockwise and it was beautiful! Lots of Ocotillos and wild flowers in bloom. We started about 8:30am and made it to the peak at 10:45am. The climb was more gradual, so wasn’t really strenuous. The trail had loose rock towards the start, but a very nice walking trail after that. Definitely want to do this one again-maybe we will try it clockwise for a different view. Perfect weather; glad I brought a long sleeve as it did get a little windy at times.
