We had beautiful weather for our hike to Wasson Peak. It was sunny, cool and breezy, so we never got overheated, even though we were working hard. The trail was easy to follow and well maintained. Lots of local people trail running or hiking in groups.
We had good visibility at the summit and could see Picacho Peak to the north, which we climbed the day before and Mt. Wrightson, south of Tucson, which is on my to-do list of hikes. The views were panoramic, and Mt. Lemmon was also easy to spot in the East.
