Whew, this is a challenge! Not technical at all, just long with steady inclines. I chose to do the loop clockwise. Alltrails will tell you to start by walking down Kinney Road: please don’t! It can be very busy as it leads to Desert Museum. Instead, leave the parking lot on the trail going down to the left. You’ll come to a wash, go left into the wash and you will find the gold’s mine trail. Much safer.
