WE DID IT! The 6-Pack-of-Peaks Challenge: Complete!

The final chapter in our 6-Pack-of-Peaks saga is sealed! We had a rough start: Our 7 AM meet-up at the Sunol Wilderness gate taught us that we would be locked out until 8 am! Grudgingly, we had to turn that roadblock into an early challenge, finding parking way up the road and instantly logging an extra mile before the main event even began.
But once that early hiccup was behind us, a beautiful day lay ahead of us. Despite a few patches of mud, it was absolutely perfect: cool and sunny weather, breathtaking panoramic views, some leftover fall foliage, and beautiful rolling hills. A long day, but every step was worth it—especially with the best crew.
To Boots, Mike, and Ranger Ross: thank you for an amazing year and for being the ultimate hiking buddies! We crushed it!
