My wife and I signed up yesterday and we chose to do hike Bear Mountain today for our first hike. Wow, that was tough and wasn’t anything like Westwing, Sunrise or Thunderbird. It was a beautiful hike though with all the red rock and other rock formations. You have to be ready to cover a lot of ground in the 5 miles you hike, which translates to sharp elevation changes. Take enough water, I went through every drop of my 2 liters. Can’t wait to see how the other mountains measure up.
