Weaving our way to the needle

This is the stuff day hikes are made of. We started early and had the trail mostly to ourselves. The water runoff made it cool and comfortable and listening to running water is such a treat in Arizona. Plus, this is just such a beautiful desert hike. Flowers, rocks, cactus, waterfalls, soul healing! Getting away from the city is where it is at for me. Days like this are far to few.
