What a perfect getaway from the weather

There is still some snow packed spots, it’s a little slick watch out. The dog and I found our own way up following the animal tracks. It was a lot more gradual than I expected, but still a lot of up. We started early and it was moderately busy, we were passing people and had a nice chat with a few on the summit. The bugs were not actually annoying, just giving you an idea of how many there were, and butterflies galore! We had a few land on the reflective strapping on the dogs leash. One thing I will say is AllTrails has this rated as hard, but unless you’re in deep snow I would disagree. It is closer to moderate, and as long as the snow was cleared up I would be comfortable taking most skill levels on this trail.
