Parking area fills quickly, get there early. Wear over the ankle shoes/boots, trail is very rocky in several sections. Water running in four spots along the lower trail. A lot of fellow hikers on the trail. Beautiful views throughout the hike and breathtaking vistas of Lake Tahoe and Desolation wilderness from the summit. Enjoy!!!
