What did I sign up for

The hike was absolutely gorgeous.  The bridges crossing running waters and the luscious greenery made for a true escape into nature.  The view from the peak was stunning.  We could see from downtown San Jose to San Francisco.  I’m not a brand new hiker, but this was a challenge and I am anticipating some growing pains as the peaks increase in difficulty.  The trail was in excellent condition.  I loved seeing the remnants of the mining community and reading the information at the peak.  Looking forward to another trip up the mountain.
