What Hot Springs

This hike is really worth the effort and admission fee.  Miles 1-2.5 are pretty steep with lots of heart-breaker switchbacks.  Once you reach the tree line it still maintains a constant elevation gain but it flattens out a bit and the huge trees make quite an impression. On the way up there were no bugs to deal with but on the way down after it warmed up bit they made an appearance whenever the breeze died down.  We got the whole thing done in about 3.5 hours and only saw one other hiker.
