What was I thinking !!!!

A friend of mine and me started the hike from Stinson beach – the 17-mile loop. We reached the East peak and on our descend, we lost track – as spooky as it could get, the sun was setting, with 8 miles to go and no trace of a human in sight for miles!! rocky terrain, no signal. Finally, we met a biker!!! he told us we were  10 miles away and not 8 and completely different direction! . FInally we ended up doing a 20-mile hike…..a few scabs, some ankle twisting..but we made it and boy!!! we felt empowered !!! and sooo gooood ..will still do it again <3
