When you leave your house later then anticipated but made it to the trailhead already packed out but managed to squeeze into a parking spot. IYKYK!

Unfortunately, it was grim experience hiking the aftermath of the last fire. About 80% along the trail is burned. Its a sad and astonishing sight to see. Weather wise it partly cloudy with some rain it the morning but the clouds kept me cool up until I made it to the top before noon. Overall, everything worked out nicely. I’ll always come back to this trail.
