I hiked this trail counterclockwise. Really enjoyed the hike up to the peak with some water running and lots of greenery. When I got to the top, it was super windy, but so fun looking at all. The amazing views I was hunting around for a sign for selfies but didn’t find one lol. I was hiking solo and came across a couple of hikers coming down. Yes, the asphalt road on the way down was a little hard on the feet, but it passed by quickly. Glad to be back out on the trails as the weather is slowly cooling and happy to be finishing up my six pack for this year. After leaving Paso Picacho campground I exited right out of the parking lot and drove down 5 miles to Green Valley Campground (parking pass good there) and just.2  of a mile on the trail. You can enjoy a small waterfall.
