The hike to Cuyamaca was Cool(yamaca)! We took Azalea Glen to Conejos Trail, which was well worth it as opposed to muscling up Lookout Road, which we looped down on the way back. It’s fun to watch the foliage change with the changing elevation. On an overcast day with a wee bit of snow at the top, the hat/gloves/down coat made appearances at various times. We stopped in Julian for some post-hike hot cider and lunch.
