Why did I do this?

Well that went terrible.

I will be sore for days.

2L was not enough water.

taking Oats-trail all the way back added about an hour extra onto the trip.

getting to oats was not too terrible.. but by the time I got to Alan I was exhausted. Hikes a mile or so ducking and doffing overgrowth and navigating all the fallen leaves made the ground squishy in an uncomfortable/unsteady way. And then I panicked that I still had 6 more miles to hike (including a bunch of intense up-hills.

thank you Kathy from SB for donating a bit of your water. It really got me through the last few miles.

wlso.. we were out of bread at home so I did not get to make my traditional pbj summit snack. Which added to the tragedy that was this hike.

I’m scared for the remaining peaks ????
