Finished!  Long, steep and a bit boring along this route since there’s a lot of street walking with an anti-climactic finish.  Saw plenty of cell phone antennas then reached the parking lot and couldn’t find the marker.  Unfortunately the observatory was closed and there wasn’t anyone around to ask for insight on where to find the marker – download the map from all trails or another app in advance to find your goal on this one.
