Wilson Mountain Escape the Heat

Early drive from Phoenix to the parking lot at North Wilson Trail head guaranteed a parking space for us. we arrived at 7:45 AM and only a couple of spaces were left. They do ticket cars on the road. The weather was cool and breezy on the way up and the first miles were in a pine forest for shade. The view at the top was worth the climb. I’d do this one again!
