Hike was great! Started out at 7:40am. No problems parking, but by time we returned the lot was full. Sign is on North End of Encinitas Picnic Area. More sun than anticipated but not terrible, first 1/4 through brush and scrub. Then it opens up. At first Bench we saw a mule deer! She was a beauty! Overlook was great! Awesome scenery! Say ate a snack and headed down! Ran some sections. Used all 2 L in running pack and used one pole as loose rock on way down. Lovely day. Took us 3 hours 40 minutes to complete. My very fit 10 year old did the hike with pack and 3 L. Great Stuff Sedona!!!
