Third time doing this hike. Definitely the best views of Sedona red rocks, Humphreys, Oak Creek Canyon, etc. A tough day hike for sure. Felt a little miserable in the heat this time – prefer it in November for sure. We’ve done it as an overnight before – had the entire mountain to ourselves and the most stunning sunset on our cliff-side campsite.
