Wilsoooonnn
Another perfect day in Sedona! Arrived at 8a and parked right away. The temperature was in the low 80’s all day with a fabulous breeze. The Wilson Mountain trail gradually ascends making the 2,800’+ manageable. Many sections have loose rock making the descent a little harder on the feet in trail runners, otherwise it was easy to navigate, some minor scrambling and the meadow on top was a surprise. Only a handful of people making it feel like I owned the mountain. The scenic view of Sedona on the south side is beautiful I have to admit, Bear Mountain was more spectacular! The north canyon view provides the best view of Oak Creek canyon and the San Francisco peaks. The only part I couldn’t find was a trail to the Wilson Peak! Where’s Wilson!!
