Boy was it windy!  Great day for this hike.  The wind kept the bugs away and the temperature cool.  This is more like a nice walk up to the peak rather than a hike.  It is on a dirt road so there really aren’t any steep parts, just a gradual climb to the top.  I would imagine it would be miserable with loads of traffic, but we only saw about 6 4WDs, 1 motorcycle, and 3 other hikers.
