Great hike, beautiful morning.
Went clockwise up the fire road and then down the Conejos/ Azalea Glen trails.  Next time I will go up and back down the Azalea Glen way.  That would be 10 miles, prettier, much more nature.  (fire road is 3 miles, trail way is 5 miles.  If you use AllTrails they show it as a loop, I think an out and back would be better.)
at 9:00 AM it was really cold, saw snow on the ground.
8.3 miles, 3 hours, climbed 1860 ft.   Saw 2 people on the way up, maybe a dozen on the way down.
