1/10/2021:

This was my first winter hike up to Mt. Baldy.  I had a good weather window in this summit.  I started around 7 a.m. and made my way up to the green Ski hut.  I had a long rest here.  I was so exhausted due to dispersed snow and ice on the trails.  I was very meticulously on my steps.  After that I made my way to the Baldy Bowl.  There were alot if snow and ice there.  I think it’s much easier to hike Mt. Baldy in snow and ice.  I got good traction on those covered steep trails.

I finally made it up to Mt. Baldy at a snail pace.  I got a beautiful view of all the neighboring peaks at Mt. Baldy.  It was so windy up there that I descent in a hurry.  After I passed the saddle, the switchbacks were all covered in snow.  But I was very fortunate that hikers before me left tracks.  I finally made my way back to the green Ski hut and back to my car.

Woohoo! Another peak bagged.
