Wiped out at Wasson

What a view from the summit!! It is like you are on top of the world and can see for miles in all directions. This was one I had never even heard of, and I am glad I joined this challenge so I could experience it.

This was a difficult hike mainly because of the weather. There is NO SHADE on any section of this hike, and it was near 100. I was so thankful for wind to give a little moment of cool down every now and again. If we would have been able to get to this one earlier in the season I would have loved this hike. I greatly enjoyed it, but desert hiking needs to be done in cooler temps.

The flowers were still very lovely, we saw several lizards, and no snakes. Just a pretty great day except for the heat.
