Worth the 104 mile drive!!
Also on this hike
First time summiting Mt. Pinos. It was a long 104 mile drive, and only a 3 mile hike round trip, but the views totally payed off. There was a sea of yellow wildflowers throughout some good portions of the trail, pictures don’t do it any justice. Weather was chill 57 F, which made the hike comfortable…didn’t break a sweat. Best part was, my husband joined me (he’s not a hiker), this was his first summit. Beautiful and totally doable summit for a beginner ????????
