Wow that was a long way!

What a great hike  to end the six peak challenge on !

We left early 6:30 AM to beat the heat … really glad we did  The trail was in excellent condition  but there  were some pretty steep sections that required your full attention. We saw many blooms  and lots of wildlife quail, raptors, horny toads, rattle snakes (big ones!), rabbits and lizards .  The trail was uncrowded we encountered about 5 other groups during the hike everyone was very nice.  We took time to have a nice lunch at the high point and made our way back to the car by 3:00 for a celebratory cold one in honor of the six peak challenge. Good times with good people totally AWESOME!!!!
