Wrap Around to Wasson Peak

After Flatiron yesterday, we needed a more moderate hike. After picking up our car at Flatiron, we drove 2 hours to Saguaro National Park. We went to the Visitor Center because the Kings Canyon trailhead is still closed. The ranger recommended the better route to Wasson Peak was the Sendaro Esperanza trail to the Hugh Norris trail up to the peak. It was a sunny, beautiful hike through all of the cacti and gradual switchbacks to the top. I never thought I would miss switchbacks!
